While being squished on a red carpet kind of blows, the party at Cecconi’s to get Emmy’s week started did not. I’m a HUGE Modern Family fan…HUGE. Interviewing Julie Bowen (aka Claire), sharing some laughs with Eric Stonestreet (aka, Cam), and just hearing Ty Burell (aka Phil) laugh like his doofy character was amazeballs.
As a “fashion person” (whatever that means?), it was an honor to meet Derek Lam and talk about everything from his Emmy green-room designs, unfortunate cold, and the status of fashion bloggers. I also had a lengthy heart-to-hear with Nia Vardalos and caught up with my favorite Revenge star, Ashley Madewke. So yes, I was a loser to leave early…but a girl’s gotta work.
