Entertainment Weekly threw a little get together to get Emmys weekend started at Fig and Olive last night sponsored by L’oreal (I scored some new lipsticks…sweet!). As you can see, if you truly have no idea what to wear or have exhausted all other options, BLACK ATTACK. All black will do wonders and to add a pop, just add a hint of color. My neon green watch and bright lipstick pumped up the outfit…clean, simple, and most important: COMFORTABLE!
As for the evening, it was studded with televisions most ridiculous comedians. Parks and Rec was in the house, along with the funny-men of Human Giant, and of course Modern Family. Yes, if you are wondering: Aziz is awesome. My favorite of the night was my ultimate little style crush: Kiernan Shipka. For those that follow the blog, I am truly obsessed with Sally Draper. Whether it be on Mad Men or in real-life, Kiernan is always dressed PERFECTLY. The rising starlett was sweet like sugar and adorable as ever. I’m 23 and had a total starstruck moment with a 12 year old.
